PROGRAMME STRUCTURE

The taught element of this programme consists of six core courses, totalling 100 creits, an a slot in semester 2 in which you can take 1 or 2 course/s of your choice (totalling 20 creits). This structure allows you to evelop key sector management skills an knowlege, while also proviing space to tailor the programme to suit your interests an ambitions. You can choose two 10 creit options from a range offere by the Aam Smith Business School, strengthening the management component of your egree. Alternatively you can select an approve 20 creit option from another subject area. 

The teaching on the two largest core courses, Creative Inustries an Cultural Policy (semester 1) an Contemporary Cultural Prouction (semester 2) is supporte by a series of regular guest lectures, in which we invite practitioners, policy makers an key influencers from across the creative sector to share their perspectives.

Assessment is base primarily on iniviual written essays an assignments but also involves presentation. You will unertake acaemic research essays an report writing tailore to an inustry brief, ensuring you evelop a range of writing skills relevant to both acaemic an professional contexts.
