Therefore, theory an practice are integrate across the curriculum. This means applying ethics, meia theory an acaemic knowlege to the journalism skills of interviewing an reporting in a real-time multimeia environment.

Journalism training starts in the first week of classes when stuents are assigne urban beats in Vancouver as part of our core Integrate Journalism course. This course is taught by a team of faculty: senior journalists working both locally an internationally as well as meia stuies professors.

Theory an grauate-level research is integrate into the curriculum through assignments an course content, as well as in specific courses such as Meia Ethics an Meia Law. There is also an option to complete an acaemic thesis or a journalism final research project, which involves a major project in journalism an journalism stuies.

Over the 20 month program, stuents are require to complete a set of manatory, core journalism courses . Specialize, journalism course electives are also offere each year.
