爱尔兰有超过38,000人受雇于体育相关行业，有270,000名志愿者活跃在现有的所有体育项目中。作为本学位的毕业生，学生将有资格在例如一线运动员的测试和监测、教练教育、体育新闻、体育和运动咨询、健康促进和研究等领域寻求就业。

我校校园内的体育基础设施包括经国际田联批准的田径跑道和国际足联2星级Astro-Turf草坪球场，并于2013年启用了新的室内运动场。室内设施包括田径跑道、综合运动场，以及适配顶级精英运动员训练的综合配套设施。 

本专业学生需在所执教的各项体育活动中取得学习成果。过程中将包含个人和团队在各项运动领域的教学训练。与此同时，儿童和弱势成年人群也将成为目标人群之一。为了保障此类人群的权利和利益，本专业学生将要求通过加尔达中央审查单位（TGVCU）的审查。
