M.S. Computer Science - Amissions Requirements

Amission to the program is highly selective; there are many more qualifie applicants than there are places in the program. The challenge for the College every year is to select a class from a highly qualifie pool. The College looks for compelling reasons to amit caniates, an the statement of purpose, letters of recommenation, test scores an GPA are all reviewe carefully. Having a strong unergrauate backgroun in computer science, incluing C programming, is highly recommene for applicants. The Amissions Committee welcomes aitional pertinent information that will ai in making objective an informe ecisions.

Application Requirements

• Completion of the online application.
• Receipt of three recommenation letters (requeste within the on-line application).
• Scores from the general Grauate Recor Examination (GRE) are require. Applicant scores are expecte to be at least 153 in the Verbal, 155 in the Quantitative, an 3.0 in the Analytical sections for the MS program.
• The esirable minimum GPA is 3.0/4.0 , though most caniates score higher.
• The Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) is require for caniates from non-English speaking countries who have not stuie in the Unite States for at least one year. The minimum accepte score is 100 for the internet base TOEFL exam, however most caniates shoul be above this score.
