Amission Requirements 录取要求

Equivalent of a baccalaureate egree  in Economics with a grae point average of at least 3.0 on the University of Alberta 4-point graing scale in their last 2 years (60 creits) of full time stuy. 经济学本科背景，在最后 2 年 GPA 最少 3.0

The equivalent of a GPA of at least 3.0 (on the University of Alberta’s 4-point graing scale) in all of their economics courses taken.

Applicants must also have complete a course each in calculus an statistics at the introuctory level.

English Language Proficiency Requirement 语言要求

International applicants must provie proof of English language proficiency. Applicants must uploa the proficiency test results to their application. The minimum acceptable score on the TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) test is  92 on the internet-base test. The English language proficiency may be waive if the stuents country or institution is exempt (please refer to ELP Exemptions) or with a letter from the stuents institution confirming the language of instruction was English.

Applicants whose most recent egree is from an institution outsie Canaa or the USA are require to complete the  verbal, quantitative an analytical sections of theGrauate Recor Examinations (GRE). The examinations shoul be written early enough for scores to be available to be inclue in the online application before the application ealine. Both scores an percentages must be poste. The Department requires a minimum score of 80% on the quantitative section of the exam to be consiere eligible for our programs. No substitutions for the GRE (such as the GMAT) will be accepte. The GRE requirement will not be waive.
