从第一所英国大学接受中国高考成绩之后，陆续有不少学校公布接受高考成绩，而一直备受瞩目的剑桥大学也是其中之一。
根据往年剑桥大学官网要求：
接受a-level成绩：a*aa
接受ib成绩：40-42 points, with 776 at higher level

the gaokao is regare as suitable preparation for cambrige. the gaokao scores of successful applicants will vary from province to province an year to year. as a guieline, successful applicants will usually have scores in the top 0.1% of those taking the gaokao in their province. in aition to the total score, cambrige colleges will pay close attention to iniviual subject scores an scores in the senior high school examinations ﹙xueye shuiping kaoshi; previously the huikao﹚. the xueye shuiping kaoshi alone are not regare as suitable preparation for cambrige.applicants stuying for the gaokao are encourage to unertake aitional stuy outsie of their school qualifications. this might inclue, for example, relevant science olympias or college boar sat i or ii; or avance placement tests.
