最近，正好在整理美国TOP30的夏校信息，今天给大家分享下热门夏校--Cornell University 康奈尔大学的summer college programs。康奈尔大学在8所常春藤里，相对录取率是最高的。也深受大家的喜爱。所以每年夏天，Cornell的夏校项目总会遭遇疯抢。

关于就读康奈尔大学夏校的费用，比较清晰的是这个网站。里面有包括详细的每个session的价格，以及这些价格里所包含的内容。还有学生的保险费用：

至于申请材料，国际生需要注意的是：

1. TOEFL成绩，如果你在美高，或者高中是用全英语教学的话，那可以不提交；其余必须提交。TOEFL要求是100以上。如果100没有到，成绩在97-99左右，那只能申请以下三门课：Strategies for College Success、Research an Information Literacy、Acaemic Writing  

2. 申请I20。这段时间申请I20需要注意，目前由于疫情的缘故，现在美领馆批签还不明朗，之后我也会针对这起事件专门写文章，让大家理性分析。 
3. High School Transcripts的扫描件，申请时可以直接上传
4. 老师的推荐信：注意，这是最不同的地方：因为不用老师亲自提交了。只需要老师们把推荐信扫描版转成PDF给你，然后在你自己的账号里上传就行。

5. 学校的文书要求Your answers to each of the three items shoul be in English an shoul not excee 250 wors.

   1. What are your three most significant interests an activities (incluing any employment or volunteer work experience)?

   · Note the time you evote to the activities, how long you've been involve in them, an your main responsibilities.

   · Describe why one of these interests or activities is important to you, your reasons for becoming involve in it, an your relate accomplishments.

   2. So that we can get to know you better, please provie a personal statement that aresses the following questions:

   · What istinguishes you from your classmates an peers?

   · What o you expect to gain from Summer College?

   · What o you hope to accomplish uring the program?

   3. Tell us about your interest in the Summer College programs (both your first an secon choices) you selecte in your application.

   · Why i you select these programs?

   · What o you expect to gain from them?

   · What personal, work, or volunteer experience have you ha relate to these programs?

   · If you are applying to the Research Apprenticeship in Biological Sciences (RABS) program, also tell us about a biological research project that you have initiate or participate in.

6. 最后，也是最重要的一点，康奈尔有些 summer course只针对11或12年开放，如果你是9或10年级的话，就没办法申请了。这段时间，宗老师就在给一个10年级在读的美高学生整理，他准备申请Architecture的summer课程，但该summer course9或10年级的学生是不能申请的(官网有说明，也邮件确认过)。还好，宗老师仔细看了学校官网，发现有个 Create Your Own Summer College Program，里面显示的有Architecture课程，这个10年级在读的学生是可以申请的，可以理解为量身定制的summer course：https://sce.cornell.eu/precollege/program/mycusc。所以申请summer school一定要注意课程是否合适，如不合适要邮件确认，并且仔细阅读官网信息，你会发现惊喜的。由此可见，康奈尔夏校如此受欢迎，跟他的灵活性关系很大。
