应用数学硕士—精算方向（MS in Applie Mathematics - Actuarial Sciences）：为期1.5年，共计修读32个学分，秋季学期和春季学期均可申请。要求申请者本科毕业，无需精算专业背景，但需通过精算考试（概率理论），未通过者需在第一学期补考。此外，学生还可攻读金融、经济学或其他与精算相关专业。申请者需满足数学、微积分、概率、统计学、计算机编程、经济学或金融等前置课程。该项目以授课内容为主，毕业生可选择精算方面的职业。一般无奖学金授予，学生需自费攻读；暑期会根据情况安排少数学生做助教，对象一般以本科生为主，学院提供少量的TA奖学金，涵盖全部的学费

A stuent may earn the egree by completing 32 creit hours of grauate stuy. At least 24 creit hours must be in Mathematics. Only courses at the 400- an 500-level courses can be counte towar a grauate egree (however, Math 405, 406, 408, 415, 444, 461, 463, an 499 cannot be counte towar the actuarial science Masters egree).
