来自内心深处的疑问

最近， 佩斯大学的校长 发表了这样一篇文章

“Recently I visite the legenary investor an author Mario Gabelli. Gabelli is one of Wall Street’s most successful stock pickers; he’s known for his contrarian takes an his eication to value investing. But when we spoke, he pointe to another great secret of his success: He tol me how much he believes in the importance of talking to people. Even now, after 40 years as an investor an all his tremenous success, Gabelli says he still travels to far-flung locations to meet people an unerstan the work they’re oing. He tol me that visiting in person helps him fin insights that he coul never gain just by looking on the computer or even talking by phone.

You learn things about a place, a business, a person, he sai. You buil trust. You buil relationships. You buil networks. When I mentione that my hometown is Lexington, Kentucky, he immeiately reele off several businesses he’ visite there. When you visit in-person, you get to know a place. Gabelli’s comments have stuck with me, for two reasons. One is that I agree with him. The other is that I’ve been grappling with the question of how we maintain human connections as more an more of higher eucation shifts to the igital realm. The shift is uneniable. About 6 percent of all stuents, incluing both unergrauates an grauate stuents, now take at least one istance-eucation class. Of those, about half take exclusively istance courses. That’s more than 3 million stuents who are exclusively istance learners. At the same time, the number of stuents stuying on a campus roppe by about 6.4 percent from 2012 to 2016.”

网课削弱了 老师和学生的沟通

而这种互动却恰恰是 学好一门课的关键

也是 校园生活必不可少的一部分
