Application Checklist

Applying to PCC is simple an the best choice you can make to set your future on fire! An you can get starte right now. After you have complete the application packet with the following require ocuments, please either MAIL it to us or submit IN PERSON at our International Stuent Center, locate in room D-204. 

 

Complete PCC International Stuent Application

 

The application asks that you inicate the Program of Stuy (&lquo;major&rquo;) that you wish to pursue. You must choose a major. Please view the Programs of Stuy  ocument for majors that are available to international stuents.  Note: Certificates are not offere to international stuents.

One Passport-size Photograph

 

Submit one recent passport-size photograph (size: 2 x 2 inches or 51 x 51 mm).  Note: Please submit a physical photo.

 

 

$40 USD Application Fee

 

The non-refunable, application fee can be pai via money orer, cashier’s check, or personal check. NO CASH, CREDIT CARDS, OR WIRE TRANSFER accepte. Payments shoul be mae out to &lquo;Pasaena City College&rquo;. Please also write the applicant’s full legal name on the check.

 

 

Sponsor Affiavit Form

 

Complete the Sponsor Affiavit Form an obtain all necessary signatures. Without signatures from you an your sponsors, your application cannot be processe.  Note: If there are multiple account holers on your bank statement, please submit one affiavit form for each of the account holers.

Original Bank Statement/Letter

 

Submit an original statement/letter from your bank or other financial institution. The name of the person on the bank statement shoul match the name of the person ientifie on the Sponsor Affiavit Form.

 

The bank statement/letter must be in English. If the bank statement/letter is not in English, please provie a certifie English translation of the ocument. 

 

 Your funs must be from a checking, saving, or certificate of eposit account.  Note: We o not accept funs such as stocks, investments, retirement, etc.

 

 

It must be issue by your bank or financial institution. The bank statement/letter must contain the ate, name of the account holer(s), an states that there is funing available in the amount of at least $22,000 USD.

 

 

Bank statement/letter is vali for 3 months from the ate of issue.

 

 

If bank statement/letter is not issue by a U.S. bank, currency must be specifie in the statement/letter. If you have funing from multiple sources, you will nee a bank statement/letter from each source.

 

 

The statement/letter must also be signe an stampe by a bank official at the financial institution.

 

 

English Proficiency Requirement

 

You must provie proof of English proficiency. Please see Proof of English Proficiency ocument for options.

 

 

Eucational Requirement

 

Submit original/official high school transcripts an iplomas. If you have attene college/university in the US or another country, you must also submit an original/official transcript for each of the schools you have attene. You must have a minimum of 2.0 cumulative GPA.  Note: A certifie English translation must accompany all transcripts, certificates, an iplomas if the original language is not English.

 

 

Visa Document Requirements

 

Copy of your passport ientification page an expiration page.

 

In aition, if you are a change of status stuent, please also submit the following ocuments:

 

Copy of your current visa

Copy of I-94 (you can get it here )

Copy of Travel History (you can get it here )

Copy of I-20 if you are on F-2 Status

Copy of DS-2019 if you are on J status

In aition, if you are a transfer stuent (currently holing a vali I-20), please also submit the following ocuments:

Copy of your F-1 visa 

Copy of I-20 from your current school

Copies of all your past I-20s from each of the previous schools you have attene

Copy of I-94 (you can get it here )

Copy of Travel History (you can get it here )

Transfer-in Recommenation Form

Minor Applicant Requirements If you will be uner 18 years of age at the beginning of the semester you are applying for, you must:

Complete Minor Health Consent Form. This form is only vali if signe by your parent or guarian.

Submit an Assigne Guarian Statement form. The form is only vali if signe by parent an guarian. Please note U.S. guarian must submit a copy of their rivers license to confirm their aress to the proximity of the college.

A copy of your guarian’s Photo ID (e.g. Driver’s License, Passport)

 

Notes About The Application

All applicants must be at least 16 years ol an be a high school grauate.

All forms are fillable PDFs. Please make sure that you TYPE your information, PRINT the forms, an SIGN by han. Hanwritten forms will not be accepte if it’s not legible.

If you have scanne ocuments, please make sure you PROPERLY scan the original ocuments in color an sen as email attachments using PDF format. If your ocuments are not properly scanne, you may be aske to resubmit them.
