UBC大学vantage one项目

Vantage One 是UBC专门为国际学生（注意：只招国际生）设置的“过渡项目”。

如果你语言成绩接近直录线（如雅思6.0-6.5之间），又希望进入UBC正课体系，Vantage One是一个不错的跳板！

Vantage One 项目是由 UBC 的附属学院 Vantage College 开设的本科项目的双录取通道。提供给学术成绩等各方面优异，但是未达到学校语言分数要求的学生，学校会发放该双录取 offer ，成功完成 Vantage One 项目的学生，无需再提交语言成绩，只要成绩达到学校要求，即可顺利衔接 UBC 的大二课程。

针对于语言的要求是 IELTS5.5( 听力口语 5.0 ，阅读写作 5.5) ， TOEFL70( 单项 16) 。该项目的时长为 11 个月，一年开一季， Vantage One 的 11 个月相当于学生的大一，完成该项目后，直接升入 UBC 的大二课程，这样就可以避免由于学习语言班过长，导致影响毕业的时间。

项目时长：11个月（9月入学 ➡ 来年7月结束）

修读内容：语言强化课+大学一年级核心课程

项目特色：小班教学人数少，老师关注度高，有专门的语言辅导老师

项目流程：需要三个学期修完整个项目，其中报告强制性的暑期课程，完成这三个学期并成功毕业后直接升入UBC大二（无缝衔接）

Vantage One Program分四个方向，也就是：
Bachelor of Arts– Vantage One Program for the Arts stream；
Bachelor of Applied Science - Vantage One Program for the Engineering stream；Bachelor of Management - Vantage One Program for the Management stream；
Bachelor of Science - Vantage One Program for the Science stream。

·Arts艺术方向，将来可衔接本科专业类型：
Social Sciences社会科学--Anthropology; Geography; Linguistics; Psychology; Social Work; Sociology
Humanities人文--Art History, Asian Area Studies, Asian Language and Culture, Classical Near Eastern and Religious Studies, English, French, German, Hispanic Studies (Spanish), History, History and Philosophy of Science, Philosophy, Romance Studies
Interdisciplinary跨学科--Canadian Studies; First Nations and Indigenous Studies; Gender, Race, Sexuality and Social Justice; Latin American Studies; Medieval Studies; Modern European Studies; Religion, Literature and the Arts; Science Studies (minor); Speech Studies; United States Studies; Urban Studies (minor)
·Creative and Performing Arts表演艺术--Music; Theatre
成功完成Vantage One Arts program课程后，将升入二年级，并在UBC温哥华Vancouver Campus学士学位。

·Management管理方向
在完成第一年Vantage One Management program课程后，学生将完全满足无缝过渡到管理学士学位第二年的所有要求。
但是2019年学期9月入学的，UBC Vantage one Management program的入学资格将被暂停。目前正在参加该项目的学生不受影响。后续有什么变化会以UBC大学通知为准。

·Engineering工程方向， 将来可衔接本科专业类型：
Okanagan Campus: Electrical, Mechanical, and Civil Engineering
Vancouver Campus: Chemical, Chemical and Biological, Computer, Electrical, Environmental, Geological, Integrated, Materials, and Mining Engineering
进入工程专业二年级将基于对学生一年级平均成绩的评估和一份个人陈述。学生可以在UBC的Okanagan或Vancouver校区完成学士学位。

·Science科学方向， 将来可衔接本科专业类型：
Cognition and Brain; Combined Major in Science; Earth and Ocean Sciences; Environmental Sciences; Geology; Integrated Sciences; Mathematics (Major & Honours); Statistics;
Chemistry; Combined Major In Oceanography and Chemistry;
Astronomy; Atmospheric Science; Combined Major in Oceanography and Physics; Geophysics; Physics (Major & Honours);
Computational Intelligence & Design; Computer Science; Mathematical Sciences
成功完成Vantage One Science program课程后，将升入二年级，并在UBC温哥华Vancouver Campus学士学位。

Vantage One program成功的申请者，将通过电子邮件收到正式录取通知书。
