Master of Arts (Translation and Transcultural Communication)

 简介： The Master of Arts (Translation and Transcultural Communication) is an inter-disciplinary, language-rich and research-rigorous program designedfor international students with Chinese language proficiency to acquire knowledge in cross- cultural communication and gain practical skills in translation at postgraduate level. The program aims to develop the linguistic competence of Chinese-speaking students in translation, and at the same time provide them with intensive research training at an Australian university. The curriculum is specificly designed for students to acquire linguistic and research skills and to develop an understanding of their culture within a global context. Both elements are important and relevant to students’ transcultural experiences and transnational futures. l 概况：

 雅思： Overall band score of 6.5，Reading and Writing 6.5，Listening and Speaking 6.0 n 托福 iBT ： Internet-based: total score of 79 with a minimum of 24 in Writing, 18 in Speaking, 20 in Reading and 13 in Listening n Bachelor degree or equivalent. 

 课程大纲： The program comprises 48 units: 24 units of core courses and either a 12 unit dissertation plus 12 units of electives, or 24 units of electives. The standard duration of the program is two years of fulltime study. This program is not available part time. Students who have completed the Graduate Diploma in Translation and Transcultural Communication will be granted 24 units of credit towards the Masters program.
