gaokao examinations results provie by chesicc or cqv. ubc expects stuents to achieve a minimum provincial tier 1 university cut-off score.

if you are not writing the gaokao, you must submit three or more avance placement ﹙ap﹚ exam results in three or more istinct subjects. competitive results must be achieve in these examinations.

美高教育体制

grauation from an acaemic or college preparation program at a us regionally accreite school. applicants are encourage, but not require, to present a minimum of six acaemic an non-acaemic grae 12 courses.

english ﹙composition/literature﹚ to the senior level. esl english courses are not acceptable to satisfy english requirements for amission.

three years of mathematics to the junior level.

a minimum grae of b- in an english course to at least the junior level.

sat 1 or act + writing. in countries where the sat an act are unavailable, exemptions may be grante. ubc’s sat institution coe is 0965 an its act institution coe is 5259. the optional sat essay section is recommene, but not require.

ap courses complete as part of the high school curriculum may be use to meet amission requirements.

ib iploma programme

complete ib iploma, incluing at least three higher level courses.

ib certificate courses

ib certificate courses ﹙stanar an higher level﹚ may be use in an amissions average if you are grauating from a recognize high school curriculum that can be use as your basis of amission.
stuents who complete the ib iploma in english are require to achieve a minimum score of 3 in an ib group 1 english course at either stanar or higher level. ﹙if you are an international stuent with a score of less than 3, you may be eligible for ubc vantage one programs.﹚

ib math applications an interpretations sl, or ib math stuies, o not satisfy the math requirement for amission to ubc’s science-base programs, the faculty of management, the ubc sauer school of business, or the vancouver school of economics.
