Capstone Project

The MPP program aims to eucate stuents to think critically about public policy an to emonstrate a mastery of the various skills emboie in the curriculum.

Stuents choose between two capstone experiences: completing a thesis, or completing a client-base capstone. Both options span two semesters, an involve answering a policy question in an analytically rigorous manner, rawing on the knowlege an skills of the MPP curriculum.

Stuents who choose the thesis capstone option will evelop a research question an work with their avisor to formulate an implement a research plan. Stuents who choose the client-base capstone option will work with a small group of fellow stuents to stuy a real policy problem for an actual organization.

MPP/MAGES

The BMW Center for German an European Stuies (CGES) program gives stuents the option of spening either their secon year, or the spring term of their secon year, at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin.
