Tips ：

l 地理位置 ： LA 气候很好，全年阳光明媚，就算是冬季，日间气温有时也有 20℃ 。城市设计跟重庆比较像，是一个结构较分散的城市群。东北边的阿尔罕布拉（ Alhambra ）和圣加百利（ San Gabriel ）是华人城，饮食水平不逊国内；西北边就是好莱坞和贝弗利山庄；西边是圣莫尼卡（ Santa Monica ）海滩。 而 USC 的地理位置坐镇于中央 ，去哪个地方都很方便。这里 既是商业中心也是文化与艺术中心 ，还是朋克风格的发源地，并且拥有湖人队、快船队、银河队知名运动队。不论购物和美食都应有尽有。

l 饮食居住 ： USC 校园坏境很美，有 3 个食堂，味道一般，新生第一年可以免费吃。不过学校里有一个校园中心，会卖一些外面的吃的，很多学院下面有 Café 。学校周围餐馆也很多，包括赛百味之类的快餐店。也可以去附近的韩国城，日本城，或者开车 45 分钟左右去中国城吃饭 。 在 LA 饮食不是问题。 USC 宿舍有校内和校外的。校外的环境大多都比校内的稍好一点。校内的宿舍有很多种，有两人间，有四人间，也有八人间。还有一种是大部分人都会住的公寓，两人一间，有厨房和客厅，可以自己做菜。另一种是 4 个房间加上一个共用的起居室。 南加大宿舍的选择度和舒适度都挺不错的。

l 校园治安 ：有学校保安护送回宿舍的服务

l 强势科目 ：电影、游戏设计、传媒专业（联系三年全世界第一）、新闻专业、会计专业、建筑、工商管理、音乐、计算机科学

l 课业难度 ：相对来说与个人所在的专业和所选的课程有关，整体氛围很愉快。学校对每节课打分为 “A” 的数量有限制。

l 特殊项目 （部分）：

i. WBB （ Worl Bachelor in business, 世界商业学士）在南加大读一年，香港科技大学读一年，米兰读一年，第四年自己选择一处读书，然后拿三个学校的证书；

ii. IYA （ Jimmy Iovine an Anre Young Acaemy, 吉米 艾维恩和安德烈 杨学院）是艺术、科技和商科结合的项目，只能直申，中途无法转入；

iii. 提供 Maymester 项目，让学生与自己专业领域的认识打交道，时间为两周，地点在硅谷或者纽约；

iv. 建筑学院 —— 想要拿到建筑执照和建筑学位可以学习五年，如果只想要拿到艺术学位可以读四年；

l 申请难点 ：

i. 无 ED 早决定 和 EA 早申请 ， 只有 RD 常规申请；

ii. 分数是硬指标 ： SAT 一般在 1500 左右；
