佐治亚大学（University of Georgia，缩写UGA）成立于1785年，是全美历史最悠久的研究型大学和佐治亚州大学系统规模最大的学校，被誉为美国南方三所“公立常春藤”大学之一。主校区位于佐治亚州小城阿森斯市的大学城，在亚特兰大也设有校区（亚特兰大为佐治亚州首府，阿森斯本身也临近亚特兰大）。

Curriculum Overview
A total of 41 semester hours are neee for the completion of the MPA program. A manatory socialization sequence an five core courses introuce the stuent to the various fiels of public aministration an the economic founations of public policy. In aition, two require courses in research methos assist stuents in eveloping a familiarity with quantitative techniques in public ecision making. Stuents must also select six courses from a number of available elective specializations to complete their egree. Stuents attening full-time can expect to complete the program in two years (four semesters).

Internship Requirement
Before grauating, the stuent must complete a public service internship an submit a paper on the experience. Internships must be complete at a public sector government agency or nonprofit organization that is non-partisan an non-sectarian in scope.

A stuent may choose either to specialize in a single specific area of stuy or to complete a generalist egree. Areas of specialization inclue the following:

To achieve a concentration in an area of specialization, an MPA stuent must take four courses in that area. To complete a generalist egree, stuents must choose a minimum of two courses from within at least two of the specifie areas of specialization.
Tuition
As of Fall 2019, the current cost of stuy for the MPA per creit hour is $417 (in-state) an $1,082 (out-of-state). Fees are currently assesse at $1,145 per semester. Fees for stuents stuying at the Gwinnett campus are $652 per semester.
Nine creits (3 courses) is consiere a full-time course loa for grauate stuents. A full-time stuent woul thus pay $4,898 (in-state) or $10,883 (out-of-state) per semester.
Scholarship/Assistantship Opportunities
The Department of Public Aministration an Policy offers a number of teaching an research assistantships that carry stipens for a nine-month acaemic year. The Grauate School also offers competitive assistantships an faculty members occasionally hire research assistants to work on fune research projects.
Completion Rate & Placement
The MPA egree is esigne to be a two-year program (four semesters total) for a full-time stuent. Of the 66 stuents who matriculate in the 2013-14 acaemic year, 67 percent (44 stuents) complete the egree in two years an 89 percent (59 stuents) grauate within three years, an 94 percent (62 stuents) grauate within 4 years.
