Minimum Amission Requirements

Applicants are amitte uner the General Regulations of the School of Grauate Stuies. Applicants must also satisfy the Department of Chemical Engineering an Applie Chemistry's aitional amission requirements state below.

A four-year egree (or equivalent) in engineering or the physical/chemical/biological sciences with a B+ average (or equivalent) in each of the last two years of full-time stuy.（工科，物理，化学，生物四年制本科，均分在B+一般是80以上）

Program Requirements（课程要求）

Each stuent shoul iscuss possible research projects with several members of the epartment before selecting a research area an a supervisor. Stuents must complete a thesis on a research topic.（完成论文）

Coursework. Stuents must complete at least three grauate half courses (1.5 full-course equivalents [FCEs]) as follows:（研究生课程）

One course must normally be selecte from Category A: funamental courses (see courses below).

At least one course must be selecte in an area outsie the stuent's area of research.

Only one 500-level course may be taken for creit towars the egree program.

Stuents must atten four sessions of the CHE 300xH seminar series (Creit/No Creit).

Stuents must complete CHE 1102HResearch Methos an Project Execution once uring their program, typically in Year 1.

Stuents must also complete CHE 2222H Safety Workshop an JDE 1000H Ethics in Research .

The program requires a minimum full-time resience of two sessions (eight months). This means stuents must be on campus full-time an consequently in geographical proximity to be able to participate fully in the University activities associate with the program.
