坎特伯雷大学商学院所提供的授课型硕士 - Master of Business Management, Master of Financial Management, Master of Business Information Systems an Master of Professional Accounting ，针对即将入读的学生，只需在攻读时保证每门课都达到及格的分数（之前必须每门课达到 B ），学生将会顺利毕业，并获得坎特伯雷大学的商学硕士学位，而且每个学生还将有机会获得实践项目或者实习的机会，将课堂所学用到真实的职场，为日后真正的获得全职工作积攒经验和筹码。

 Exciting new evelopments for the UC Business School Business Taught Masters programmes

Following extensive consultation with past an current stuents, as well as feeback from valuable inustry partners, the University of Canterbury (UC) Business School has mae significant changes to four of its Business Taught Masters programmes – Master of Business Management, Master of Financial Management, Master of Business Information Systems an Master of Professional Accounting.

Stuents who are enrolle in one of these four Master egrees will now be eligible to progress to their final Masters term proviing they are meeting the egree requirements. GPA will not be a factor.

In their final term, stuents will be require to complete either a project or project base courses that will allow them to apply the lessons learnt in class to the worl. Stuents will prouce substantial pieces of work to emonstrate higher learning an application to real worl problems.

Stuents will be able to apply for an inustry base project or internship which will provie inustry experience an exposure. Success in securing a project or internship is subject to acaemic performance, project availability an the approval of the Programme Director. Project an internship stuents will prouce a boy of work base on the nees of the organisation they are assigne to.

This is a significant change to the programmes as all stuents who achieve the minimum passing graes uring the first two trimesters will be eligible to achieve a globally recognise an highly sought-after egree Master’s egree, from a university in the top 1% worlwie.

In another evelopment, the term ates for the Business Taught Masters programmes will be altere so that they are more appropriate to the international auience. Previously four terms, the programmes will now run over three to provie longer teaching perios. The new term scheules will be:

Term 1: 12 weeks from early-February to late-April

Term 2: 12 weeks from mi-May to early-August

Term 3: 12 weeks from late-August to late-November
