申请UBC大学，需要写个人简介吗？

     众所周知，申请名校文书是必不可少，那么申请加拿大的英属哥伦比亚大学需要的材料中也是需要准备文书的，那么今天就简单聊一下UBC的个人简历准备！

 To assess your prepareness for university, UBC will evaluate you on a broa range of criteria incluing your acaemic achievements an personal experiences. That’s where the Personal Profile section of UBC’s online application comes in. Knowing more about you through your Personal Profile helps us etermine whether you will flourish here – not just because of your graes, but also because of the experiences an ambition you bring with you. 

   申请UBC 不仅是是看你的学术材料 也是需要评估你的个人简历了。一般的评估方式都是网上面试。那么面试是那些学生需要和会问那些问题呢？

Do you nee to write a Personal Profile?

You must complete a Personal Profile as part of your online application if:

•  只要你是高中生 打算申请UBC 你就的准备个人简历
• 如果是计划转学的学生打算Okanagan校区 护理，或是Vancouve 校区的商科，运动机能学

Preparing for the Personal Profile

The Personal Profile gives you the chance to tell UBC about the things that are important to you, 

这个部分主要是看学生是否取得那些重大的成就，克服了什么样的困难，获得什么样的的能力等。学校更希望的是看到一个除了取得优秀学术成绩的学生也是有这丰富的经历。（your significant achievements, what you’ve learne from your experiences, an the challenges that you’ve overcome. ）

Tips to consier

• Because each of the questions in the Personal Profile requires short essay answers (anywhere from 50 to 200 wors), you’ll want to brainstorm some ieas beforeyou start your online application.
• Don’t just provie a list of accomplishments without taking the time to reflect on what you have learne from them, an what you want to continue learning at UBC.
• When writing your responses, be specific. Use etails to substantiate an elaborate on your answers.

Personal Profile questions  （问题）

Depening on which egree(s) you apply to, you’ll be aske to answer some or all of the following questions in your Personal Profile:

1. Explain how you respone to a problem an/or an unfamiliar situation. What i you o, what was the outcome, an what i you learn from the experience?
2. Briefly escribe the culture of your school community an your involvement within it. What impact has the school culture ha on you? How woul you enhance or change it?
3. Tell us about who you are. How woul your family, friens, an/or members of your community escribe you? If possible, please inclue something about yourself that you are most prou of an why.
4. What is important to you? An why?
