For the Pre-College an Young Scholars programs, a stuent must atten an English-meium school for 2+ years by the time of enrollment for the requirement to be waive.

语言要求 托福 104 （ with subscores of 26 each ） 雅思 7 （ with subscores of 7 each ） 语言可免 （官网说法如下） The only exception to the English language proficiency requirement is for applicants who have stuie in full-time status for at least two full acaemic years within the last five years at a high school or college where the primary language of instruction is English, engaging in a regular acaemic curriculum taught in English (in other wors, not engage in English as a Secon Language or similar coursework), in a country where English is one of the official languages. Stuents must submit transcripts that emonstrate that they meet the conitions for a waiver of the English language proficiency requirement. Stuents who have stuie in English in other countries are not exempt from the English language proficiency requirement.
