类型一：自我介绍

tell me about yourself；

tell me about your school（best state this question soon after your introuction about yourself）；

tell me about your family. ﹙optional question﹚。

类型二：根据自我介绍的内容向下衍生，可能会问你提过的兴趣和高中经历

类型五：未来计划/目标

what kin of class will you take when you go to the us?

类型六：自由发挥类

基本上最后一个问题会问这种类型的

其他类型：

what is your strongest/weakest point?（注意：虽然是问weakest point，但我们其实并不想要面试官了解我们什么地方不行，所以记得要讲下你是如何克服弱点，或者你有什么品质可以平衡这个弱点。

其他可能涉及到的包括学术认知（对现在的课程学校的了解和感悟）；对于未来大学的憧憬以及为什么要去学习；对于个人、家庭、以及周边社群（community）的参与和理解，其他潜在问题包括个人性格、兴趣和未来学术和职业规划之间的关系等。

essay题目

essay的题目就比较天马行空了，有的比较特别：让你介绍下你最喜欢的中国菜，还有的就比较常规：谈谈你从挫折中可以学到什么？

面试建议

如何主导面试?!

“主导”的意思在于让面试官问你想说的问题，也就是你有所准备的问题，从而避免突然冒出来一个让人没有防备的奇葩问题。下面是建议：

主动往某一个方面引导

如果你发现面试官现在问你的不是你想的问题，或者发现面试官即将有挖坑的倾向，你就要赶快主动提一些你有所准备的话题了。

比如你发现你被面试官引导正在讨论一个你不太熟悉的课外活动a， 并且面试官正在问你从中学到了什么；这时你应该立即思考你不熟悉的课外活动a和你做过充分准备的课外活动b之间的共同点（比如你都是两个组织的leaer，都是学术性活动等等）

你就可以在回答中提到“just like another activity i participate because i …（此处应是a和b的交集）…” 然后在这个回答之后，面试官就很有可能对活动b产生兴趣并问你关于b的问题；

不要给自己挖坑并且主动往里跳

有关你不熟悉的话题的提及都可能成为一个坑。比如你在自我介绍的时候说“i come from xxxx high school which is very […] school.” 这个时候面试官肯定是会继续问你括号里面的是什么意思，让你解释。

一般情况下，只要在你的面试里出现关于你自己的新的信息点（包括你上过的课程，交过的朋友，相关经历），面试官就会对你这个信息点进行新的提问，每个信息点面试官最多往下挖两到三个问题。

所以在准备的时候一定注意不要抱着随便一提的心态说一些自己不熟悉的问题，因为面试官是会当真的。

面试寄送

面试制作周期是 10个工作日

加急5个工作日处理需支付加急费用50美元（408人民币）。

加急2个工作日处理需支付加急费用120美元（980人民币）。

面试发送到多所学校，学校无数量限制，无额外费用。

面试总结

initialview的习惯是问8个问题，提问会根据自我介绍和后续回答中衍生。有一个问题如果被面试官重视的话，会被标记为notable，即比较能突出学生特点的一段问答。问答采取循序渐进的形式，即面试官不会固定问哪8个问题，而是采取由浅入深的发问方式，学生可能围绕一个问题深入问答。整个面试的时长固定，为15分钟，招生官会把控时间，但由学生来掌握更好。

面试不管如何都不要慌，记住面试官的目的不是刁难你，把想到的内容说出来就可以。学生可选择是否发送面试视频，如果你觉得面试得不够好，可以预约30天之后再次面试，不过这样第一次的面试记录就会被取消，建议仔细考虑。
