In the broad expanse of the tropics, a mysterious collective thrived, distinct and indigenous. They were known as the Poets of the Dust, a feminist group that crafted verses from the composition of the earth beneath them, partly inspired by the oil that seeped from the earth's core.
Their concentration on the earth's yield became their unique routine, receiving attention beyond their confined base. Their distinctive voice resonated in the exhibition of their work, drawing a crowd that was routinely left in awe. The poets, through their impressive display, constructed a discussion around the relationship between the land, its care, and its taxation, a subject that otherwise might be considered a taxing ordeal.
While their process confused some, there was a considerable gain in bringing to light the resistance of the land. Their sensitivity to the land's stories was sensible, creating a term for their objective: Resistive Poetry.
Perhaps, some accused them of exaggeration, but nonetheless, they dealt a blow to the normal perception of the land's use.
