加国留学打工攻略

在加拿大上专上学校，拿着学习签证，可以进行有偿工作，在一定程度上能锻炼自己和减少留学总费用。拿学签工作校内校外都可以，今天介绍以下校内工作的要求和校内工作的范围

谁可以在校内工作

如果 满足以下条件，你没有工作许可也可以在你学习的校区内工作：

1、 是全日制专上学生 :

公立专上 学校，如学院或大学，或魁北克的 CEGEP

魁北克省的一所私立大学学校，按照与公立学校相同的规定办学，至少 50%的经费来自政府拨款

加拿大的私立学校，可以根据省级法律授予学位

2、 有有效的学习许可

3、 有一个社会保险号码 ( SIN )。

你必须在你不再全职学习或你的学习许可证到期的那天停止在校园里工作。

社会保险号码 Social Insurance Number (SIN)

要想在加拿大工作，或者从政府项目中获得福利和服务，你需要从 “服务加拿大” （ Service Canaa） 那里得到一 个社会保险号码（ SIN ） 。

申请在校内工作的 社会保险号（ SIN ） ，你的学习许可证必须列明下列条件 :

在 可以接受校园就业的机构注册的全日制学习

如果满足按 R186(f),(v)或(w) 的 合格标准 ，可以 接受 在校内或者 校外 就业 。如果不再满足这些标准必须停止工作

 

你在哪里工作 ?

“校内”是指学校校园内的所有建筑物。如果你的学校有多个校区，在大多数情况下，你只能在你学习的城市里工作。

如果你是一名教学或研究助理，并且你的工作与研究补助金有严格的关系，那么可以例外。在这种情况下，你可以在图书馆、医院或与你的学校相关的研究机构工作，即使他们在校外。

 

你能为谁工作 ?

“校园”雇主可以是:

·学校

·教员

·一个学生组织

·自己(自雇校园)

·私人业务

为学校提供校内服务的私人承包商。

 

 

Work on campus

Who can work on-campus?

You may work without a work permit on your school campus where you are stuying if you:

are a full-time post-seconary stuent at:

a public post-seconary school, such as a college or university, or CEGEP in Quebec

a private college-level school in Quebec that operates uner the same rules as public schools, an is at least 50% fune by government grants, or

a Canaian private school that can legally awar egrees uner provincial law

have a vali stuy permit an

have a Social Insurance Number (SIN).

You must stop working on campus on the ay you are no longer stuying full time or when your stuy permit expires.

You nee a SIN from Service Canaa to work in Canaa or to get benefits an services from government programs.

To apply for a SIN to work on campus, your stuy permit must have these conitions printe on it:

May accept employment on the campus of the institution at which registere in full-time stuies

May accept employment on or off campus if meeting eligibility criteria as per R186(f), (v) or (w). Must cease working if no longer meeting these criteria

Where can you work?

“On-campus” means all the builings on your school campus. If your school has more than one campus, in most cases, you may work only at locations in the city where you are stuying.

There is an exception if you are working as a teaching or research assistant an your work is strictly relate to a research grant. In this case, you may work at a library, hospital or research facility associate with your school, even if they are outsie the campus.

Who can you work for?

An “on-campus” employer can be:

the school

a faculty member

a stuent organization

yourself (self-employe on-campus)

a private business

a private contractor that provies on-campus services to the school.
