Notes: 1. All Ph.D. applicants to the Ph.D. Programme in Design are required to submit a research proposal to support their application. 2. This template serves as a required framework of the research proposal. Applicants may, at their discretion, add more section(s) to the template.

Applicant’s name（申請人姓名）: Proposed Topic/Title of Research（擬研究課題名稱）: Background（研究背景） Please provide background material that explains the motivation for your proposed study, and outline the research question(s) you intend to investigate. Applicants are expected to reflect in this section that they are familiar with the proposed field of study. 請提供背景⽂獻資料，說明擬研究課題的⽬的與動機，並概述擬 研究問題。
申請⼈應在該部分反映其對擬研究領域的熟悉程度。
Methodology（研究⽅法） Please give a detailed description of the methodology you intend to adopt. 請詳細說明你計劃採⽤的研究⽅ 法。
Applicant’s Previous Work related to this Proposed Research（申請⼈之前的相關研究⼯作） Please give a brief description of the applicant’s previous work related to this proposed research, if applicable. 如果申請⼈之前有從事與該研究課題相關的研究⼯作，請在此簡要說明。
