香港大学

The Faculty of Business an Economics amits applicants to the full-time PhD programme only. Caniates without a research Master's egree shall be consiere for amission to the four-year PhD programme, while those with a research Master's egree shall be consiere for amission to the three-year PhD programme.

Amission Requirements

Degree Qualifications

An applicant for amission to PhD programmes shoul have a bachelor's egree with first class honours (or equivalent qualification) from a recognize university; or a Bachelor's egree with honours an a Master's egree (or equivalent qualification) from a recognize university.

GMAT/GRE Requirements

An applicant must emonstrate his/her capability for grauate stuies by obtaining a satisfactory score in the Grauate Management Amission Test (GMAT) or Grauate Recor Examinations (GRE) within a five-year perio.

English Language Requirement

Applicants whose egree or equivalent qualification was aware by an institution outsie Hong Kong where the meium of instruction was not English will also have to meet one of the following English requirements.

· Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOFEL): minimum score of 80 (internet-base) or 550 (paper-base) taken within a two-year perio; or

· International English Language Testing Service (IELTS): minimum overall ban score of 6 with no component score lower than 5.5 taken within a two-year perio

Amission Scheule

The application for amission in 2019/20 is now OPEN. The Main Rounapplication ealine is December 1, 2018. The Faculty will consier applications submitte in the Main Roun only. Applications receive in the First an Secon Clearing Roun will not normally be consiere.

Applicants who are intereste in applying for the PhD Programme in the Faculty of Business an Economics are avise to review the information available on this website concerning the programme an the respective fiels of stuy. It is not a must for applicants to contact potential supervisors to iscuss their propose research areas at the application stage. All applications will be consiere by the Faculty an a successful applicant will be assigne the most suitable supervisor(s) who has/have expertise in the applicant's research area.

Tuition Fees an Financial Assistance

For the acaemic year 2018-19, the tuition fee for full-time PhD programme is HK$42,100 p.a.

FBE PhD Entrance Scholarship

The FBE PhD Entrance Scholarship shall be aware to new stuents amitte to the full-time PhD programme in the Faculty of Business an Economics on the basis of acaemic merit at the time of amission. The number of scholarships to be aware shall be etermine each year. The Scholarship shall be of the value of HK$42,100 for the acaemic year 2018-2019.

All eligible caniates will automatically be consiere an no application for the Scholarship is require. In the event of there being no suitable caniate in any year, no awars shall be mae.

入学要求

要获得DBA的录取，申请人应具备：

· 拥有良好信誉的公认大学或同等学历的商业相关学科的硕士学位

· 大量的专业工作经验*，其中一些是高级职业

英语水平要求

* Typical applicants will have over 10 years of work experience, although outstaning applicants with less work experience are also welcome.

ENGLISH PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENT

Applicants who gaine their egrees from universities in which English was not the language of instruction must have a minimum TOEFL score of 580 (paper-base) or 237 (computer-base) or 92 (internet-base), or an equivalent test score.

需要注意的重要日期

完成初步HKPFS申请的截止日期：2018年12月1日（12：00nn）

申请香港政策局申请截止日期：2018年12月4日（晚上11:59）

申请必须在规定的截止日期前提交至在线录取系统。

GMAT / GRE要求

申请人必须通过在 GMAT / GRE或其他同等手段中获得满意的分数来证明自己的研究生学习能力。考试成绩不是进入博士研究的主要决定因素。但是，GMAT成绩低于600的申请人必须在所选领域具有良好的学习记录和/或丰富经验，以展示其潜力。

英语语言要求

第一语言不是英语且其学位或同等学历由教学语言不是英语的机构颁发的申请人也必须符合英语要求。

英语作为外语考试（TOEFL）

纸基测试（PBT）得分≥550

基于互联网的测试（iBT）得分≥80

国际英语语言测试系统（雅思）总分≥6.5，所有分数≥5.5

NB TOEFL和IELTS成绩自考试之日起两年内有效。

除此之外，个别部门可能需要更高的英语熟练程度。
