美国会计硕士怎么找工作？

为了帮学生确认德州奥斯汀的会计项目是否是STEM项目，我发邮件给学校确认。得到了如下回复。

Hi Xixi,

The Texas McCombs MPA program is not STEM certified currently. That said, our MPA students are marketable to organizations in a variety of settings including public accounting, investment banking, finance, consulting and industry. A list of organizations that have recently recruited Texas McCombs MPA students are available on our Career Management website. Our international students have fared well in securing full-time employment. 100% of our international students from the Class of 2023 accepted a full-time offer. 88% accepted a position in public accounting (primarily with the Big 4 firms), 4% in industry, and 8% in consulting. 92% are employed in the U.S., and 8% accepted employment at an international location. Some students prefer to return to their home country post-graduation or are unable to secure employment in the U.S.

It is important to know that, due to the work authorization requirements, international students face additional challenges in the recruiting process. To be a competitive candidate, one must be flexible, have excellent communication skills, create a tailored resume, and be proactive in the job search. MPA Career Management offers individual career coaching, print and online career resources and several career and professional development events throughout the year to help MPA students through the process.

I'll also add, that since you are a current McCombs student, if you choose to pursue iMPA this year, that will give you extra time to go through recruiting and secure a job offer. If you wait to apply during your senior year, then you will need to apply to the Traditional MPA program option.

这两点和他后面的陈述是息息相关的。 MPA Career Management offers individual career coaching, print and online career resources and several career and professional development events throughout the year to help MPA students through the process. 就是说MPA Career Management 会在这两个方面给提供指导和帮助。所以从入读就可以留意他们的邮件，看有没有相关的工作机会提供，或者简历修改的workshop。也可以直接去到这个Career Management寻求帮助，或者发邮件给他们。

总而言之，以上四点是无论去到那个学校，甚至说无论是什么专业，尤其是商科专业，我们都可以如法炮制的准备。
